Central Park Story: Don't let the Midwest accent fool you! My New York days awaken to park thoughts; they usually end the very same way.

New York state of mind for 15 years, I am a certified Central Park junkie, enthusiast, aficionado, & borderline groupie. Born & raised small town girl a long time ago, Central Park was the glue in surviving this big city.

My park timeline carries me through three different phases:

Phase I: Personal Enjoyment.

Phase II: Park Volunteering.

Phase III: Tour Guiding.

Highlighting the great designer of the park Frederick Law Olmsted, my walking & biking tours will have you meandering through his timeless vision. A twist of history, a splash of cinema, and good ole fashion fun enjoying each other’s company, these two hours will provide you with a much-needed time-out from the city’s hustle & bustle.

Walking tours highlight the park’s southern end including Gapstow Bridge, The Mall, Bethesda Terrace, Bow Bridge, and Strawberry Fields. Ideal for the zig-zagger who wants to get up close to the many bridges, arches, statues, and all.

Biking tours cover the same highlights, as well as canvas the majority of the park’s six-mile perimeter. Partnership with a fantastic bike rental shop nearby allows for a comfortable and smooth process. Ideal for the visitor who enjoys the park dance of stopping & riding, witnessing the terrain transform from one area to the next.

One tour at a time, Central Park reaffirms to me that Olmsted’s social experiment continues to thrive.

It is one of my greatest pleasures to share it with you. And if you’re lucky - find your inner Olmsted.
